How To Install & Setup Industrial Revolution ?

In this topic, we will cover how to install both IR launcher & client.

Then we will explain how to link your Discord account to your in-game account (required).

Step 1 : requirements

To install IR-Launcher (& use the modpack), you need to make sure of a few things :

• You possess a copy of windows with x64 or x86 architecture.
• You possess at least 6GB of RAM.
• You possess a discord account.

 

Step 2 : installation

To install IR-Launcher, download the .exe HERE.

Then, open the program & follow the steps on the screen to install the launcher.

 

Step 3 : link accounts

Now, open IR-Launcher. Then login using the username you want to use in-game.

(the Microsoft auth system is not supported yet)

Then joins our discord server HERE or by clicking the link inside the "login" tab of the launcher.

Once you joined the discord, please read the rules.

Then click on the green "confirm" button, a pop-up should show-up, asking for your minecraft username.

So, please enter the same username as the one you are planing to use in-game (the same you used to log in in the launcher).

It's really important to do this step because overwise, the server WILL KICK YOU if your account is not linked to discord.

 

Step 4 : install client

Now, open IR-Launcher if not already done, then click the "play" button to start the client installation.

(I don't know, our download servers are not good. So please be patient :/ )

The game should automatically launch after the installation process is done.

 

Step 5 : connect to the server & play !
